In the 1970‘s, when running events were just getting started in Greenville, the most popular event was the 10K. Over the last several decades, the number of 5K and half marathon events have grown dramatically while the 10K has practically disappeared from Greenville running scene. Our newest event is aimed to revive the classic 6.2 miler, and bring it to the heart of the city.

Course Description. The race starts on South Main Street adjacent to Fluor Field. Runners will go north through downtown, then turn east near McPherson Park. At roughly 2.5 miles, the course turns south and heads into Cleveland Park. Runners will encounter a few hills on Woodland Way before descending into the Park and going west on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. After passing through the Park, runners will leave the trail and turn north towards downtown. After crossing S. Church Street, the route goes west through the River Walk and then turns south at River Street. From there, it is roughly 3/4 mile to the finish at Fluor Field. 8:15am Start
