They’re easy to find - just go to Greenville Drive Stadium - they’re located next to the main ticket office. Make plans to drop in at the Liberty Tap Room & Grill before or after a Greenville Drive baseball game or whenever you’re heading downtown. The food and service is terrific and the bar is well stocked. Tell the manager, Shannon Early, that you’re signed up for Spinx Run Fest and he might just slip you a coupon or give you a sample of one of their great desserts. Highly Recommended!

The rules for the quiz are simple. First of all, you should know that the CTS Quiz is for entertainment purposes only and we (the Greenville Track Club, the Race Directors, and any/all of our Sponsors) make no claims about the “fairness” of the Quiz. So please don’t try to sue us if you don’t win. We might be able to give you some leftover race T-shirts but that’s about it. Secondly, there are two categories of quizzes - Standard and Premium. Anyone visiting the CTS page can play the Standard or Premium quizzes, but only registered runners can win the Premium prizes. That’s our hook for getting you to sign up for SRF if you haven’t already. Thirdly, its possible to play the quiz multiple times but we discourage it since we can only accept YOUR FIRST QUIZ submission. Lastly, when you play the quiz please type your name in exactly as it is shown in the participant lists. If you’re unsure, Click below on the alphabetized participant lists or click on the go-greenevents link to check the chronological participant lists. Remember, you only have one shot at each quiz, so its a good idea to print out the questions before taking the Quiz.
Photo Identification Quiz
Since this is a special occasion, we have two standard quizzes for this week. We took some photos out on the race courses - things you might notice during the race (if you aren’t too focused on setting a PR). If you’re from the Greenville area, you will probably recognize these pieces of landmarks, but unless you’ve run the SRF courses you might not know for sure which course they are on. Quiz #1 is called “Look Sharp” and Quiz #2 is called “What Am I?”.
If your answer is correct, you will be entered in the random drawing to be held on Sunday, September 5 2010 at 2 PM EST. We will be drawing 5 winners FOR EACH QUIZ. We will post a YouTube video of the drawing on this page on Monday, September 6 so you can see the results.
You will be playing for the coveted 2010 SRF Coffee Mug! It’s 100% dishwasher safe, if you don’t mind the picture coming off. But if you want the picture to stay bright, we would suggest hand washing it or just using it as a pencil holder.
Liberty Tap Room & Grill Quiz
The minute we set foot in the Liberty Tap Room & Grill, we realized we had discovered a motherlode of quiz possibilities. Someone in our group suggested we ask how many pieces of stained glass were used in the huge mural at the front entrance, or how many patriotic works of art are on display (a bunch!) Another person said why not ask how many beers are available on tap. The smart guy in the bunch said why not sample the entire beer selection and then decide. Fifty-three beers later...
So we’ve already spoiled a perfectly good quiz question. Don’t worry, there’s plenty more where that came from. We’ve prepared two quizzes - one easy and one less easy. The easy one is called “What’s on the Menu?” and the longer one is called “At your Service”. It’s got questions that only the LTR&G servers know the answers for - so that’s why we’ve provided this PDF FILE of the Quiz questions so you can do some “research” before taking the quizzes. You only get one chance!
If you score 60% or higher, you will be entered in the random drawing to be held on Sunday, September 5 2010 at 2 PM EST.
